Check your facts on Clint using a Colt 45. Some years ago, when duing extinsive research on the GB&U, found that it was an 1851 Navy 36 cal BP w/ the 38 colt conversion cylinder set-up. Not sure about the other films, but would not be surprised if the same held true. Just passing some info,
